NEW SEASON OF THE PODCAST: Navigating Trauma: From Embodying Vitality to Fulfilling Relationships

Join us in exploring the complex topic of psychological trauma in the new Sensa podcast series.

The hosts of this series are Metka Kuhar, a professor of social psychology and therapist, and Karima Valentina Hočevar, a therapist and experiential workshop leader.

Through various interviews, personal stories, and research findings, we will delve into the individual and collective effects of trauma on health, relationships, and society.

We will explore different types of trauma, including shock and complex trauma, and how they affect individuals and communities, our relationships, and quality of life. We will examine the intersection of trauma with other factors, such as gender. Through open conversations, we will explore different principles and methods of healing, as well as mechanisms for coping with trauma, both at the systemic and community and individual levels.

We will also investigate the process of liberating oneself from trauma through the perspective of the wisdom of the body and access to deeper healing forces.

This podcast series offers a deeper but accessible understanding of the complexity of trauma and its far-reaching effects on individuals and society, providing valuable insights and practical strategies for coping with trauma, both individually and collectively.

"Life force is in us. We are like a flower that turns toward the sun, no matter what we have experienced or what our circumstances are. This part of us is still alive, even if it is hidden beneath many layers. What conditions, circumstances, and contexts does it need to express itself as fully as possible?"

- Valentina Karima Hočevar & Metka Kuhar
